Ben Stone wakes up in the ‘village’; a strange but somehow familiar place.  At first he is blind, but gradually his sight returns.  As it does, he explores the village and discovers that what was once familiar to him has now changed out of all recognition. He has no idea why he is there.

Gradually, memories of his past life come back to him, and he is desperate to return to that life.  However, someone or something is trying to hold him back.

We go back to witness Ben’s life before he arrived in the village.  Not without its problems, but essentially a happy family life.  However, although Ben is shielded and protected by his family, there are many hints and threats of what is yet to come.

Ben does not believe in the afterlife, but he is challenged by evidence of predestination and the possibility of an existence beyond the life he knows.

A mystery, with an ordinary family falling into the realm of the supernatural.
